Marcotran Transportes Internacionales was founded in 1975 as a family business and at the present time 100% of company capital is owned by the Marco López family. The company is currently run and managed by the third generation of this family with a deep-rooted passion for the world of transport.
Today Marcotran is amongst the national land logistics operators with the most promising future prospects and greatest international transport flows. It has been present for many years in EU countries and continues to expand in countries outside the EU.
The company provides integrated coverage for specific long-distance services to meet the demanding requirements of companies and multi-nationals in all sectors.
Thanks to its network of strategically located branches Marcotran is able to offer total reliability in its routes, guaranteeing the success of the intercontinental deliveries it carries out.
Marcotran has recently broadened its strategic horizons by sending its own fleet of 540 full-load vehicles from North Africa and Europe to Turkey, the Middle East, Western Russia and Central Siberia. The company?s policy of ongoing expansion aimed at covering an increasingly large international ambit has allowed the company to consolidate its position amongst the leaders of the transport sector.
In line with its philosophy of continuous improvement in quality and customer service, the company has put in place an R+D programme to investigate new systems and transport lines that will enable us to improve the characteristics and specifications that our customers demand of us.
